Outstanding Leader of the Year Award

This award is for the university leader who inspires us.

Your nominee will demonstrate our university values in all that they do and challenge and drive those around them to do the same.

They will be accountable for their work and supportive of others. They may come up with novel solutions to problems or have great skills at engaging with a wide range of people.

They will role model the Greenwich Leadership Framework, demonstrating collaboration, aspiration, realising results and empowering others.

Tell us about how they inspire you, give us some examples of why that matters and what has been achieved as a result of their work.

Eligibility Criteria 

  • All staff are eligible to be nominated regardless of grade.
  • Nominations can be made by any Greenwich staff member.
  • This award is open to individuals.
  • Please do not nominate yourself. Self nominations will not be summitted to the judges.

This nomination must be completed by 11.59pm 16 May 2025.

Nomination Information 

You may nominate an individual to receive an award for the Outstanding Leader of the Year Award. Please don’t feel constrained by these examples, but you might like to recognise staff for demonstrating:

  • Evidence how this leader has inspired and made a difference.
  • Evidence how this leader models our values and principles.
  • Evidence how this leader uses the CARE Leadership Framework.
  • Evidence how this leader has supported staff/students/researchers/others.
  • Evidence how this leader problems-solves, is resourceful, works to engage everyone, and delivers impactful change.
