This award recognises individuals or teams who have championed and demonstrated their commitment to inclusion at the university. Nominees will be colleagues who have built an inclusive environment or inspired others to look at the world differently, making a real difference to our students and/or staff that goes above and beyond.
Eligibility Criteria
- All staff are eligible to be nominated.
- Nominations can be made by any Greenwich staff member.
- This award is open to individuals ²¹²Ô»å teams.
- Please do not nominate yourself. Self nominations will not be summitted to the judges.
This nomination must be completed by 11.59pm 16 May 2025.
Nomination Information 
You may nominate an individual, or a team to receive an award for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative Award. Please don’t feel constrained by these examples, but you might like to recognise staff for demonstrating:
- Evidence of encouraging inclusive participation and eliminating discrimination.
- Evidence of the impact of the initiative or work on promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Commitment to the values of equality, diversity and inclusion above and beyond what is expected.
- Examples of innovation in response to an equality and diversity issue.
- Evidence of allyship to other members of the Greenwich community.
- Collaborative approach to improving EDI at the university.
